Global
Security Services, LLC introduces its
Quick Guides to Disaster
Preparedness, two products designed to assist in lowering
risk levels for both front-line managers and their employees. The guides may
be used either together as a set or as a stand-alone resource; both are
straightforward and provide recommendations that are useful, realistic and
practical. Neither guide is meant as a replacement for an organization’s
existing policies and procedures but rather provide additional focus on
preparedness and emergency response. An organization’s Policies and
Procedures manual should already provide for the orderly securing of its
facilities, the evacuation of personnel and the safe and orderly return,
cleanup, and resumption of operations.
The
Employee Quick Guide to
Disaster Preparedness assists employees in preparing for and
responding to emergency situations including medical, fire,
chemical/biological, power failure, severe weather, bomb threats and
building evacuation.
The
Manager's Quick Guide to
Disaster Preparedness is a compilation of suggested
procedures and techniques, customizable and designed to assist managers in
understanding their role in planning for and/or responding to an emergency
including most common disasters. The guide focuses on a number of
fundamental issues related to disaster preparedness and emergency response
and is applicable to both managers and supervisors.
